Wildlife area in Charleville Town Park
In May 2010 a group of local Environmentalists met to discuss potential environmental projects to be undertaken in the town. From this came the below appication for LA21 funding. We have been successful in getting this funding thanks to help from Ballyhoura (Amanda Slattery in particular).
Since then we have planted trees and put up bird boxes with St. Mary's, St. Anne's, St. Joseph's Foundation, and CBS 2nd, with assistance from Brian Eastwood & James Connolly.
We will be having some bat boxes put up by County Cork Bat Group and some bird/bat walks.
